Pastor’s Note

Ephesians 4:31-32

31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

These two verses are opposites of one another. We choose to live every day by either verse 31 or verse 32. Which one will we choose to live by? We can allow bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor or evil speaking to be the rule of the day or we can choose the invitation to embrace the virtues of kindness toward one another, be tenderhearted (show compassion) kindness and compassion are meant to be shown to one another, and when we show this kindness and compassion it is followed by forgiveness.

We deserve the bitterness, wrath, and anger of God, yet He chose to offer forgiveness through Christ.

In Christ Alone,
Preacher Ronnie
