Pastor’s Note
Colossians 4:5 (NKJV)
5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
Use your head and do not miss the opportunity. Ask yourself what am I investing in today? Do we invest in prayer for our fellow man? Do we invest in serving our fellow man? Do we invest in our children and grandchildren? We can invest in possessions that will fade and rust away or we can invest in people that will pay dividends. Some day we will all look back and ask how well did I invest?
Invest well, my friends.
In Christ Alone,
Preacher Ronnie

WMU News
Have you ever wondered how we use the 5th Sunday Church offering?
First and foremost, to help and support activities and needs of our church. To name a few: Quarterly donations to:
Kingdom kids
Fellowship on the Field
Free Home Rocket Pantry
Meals for members in loss of a loved one
Bibles for newborns
and Bibles for new members baptized.
We organize and host Pastor Appreciation, Trunk or Treat & Breakfast with Santa. We recognize each graduate from high school and college.
At Christmas, we shop for local children in our community, as well as organizing a toy drive for Hightower Food & Clothing Bank, providing toys for hundreds of children.
The WMU manages and pays for the calls/text provided by Calling Post.
Love donations are given when there is a need in Our church family as well as our community.
As the Woman’s Missionary Union, we support The Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong offerings, supporting missionaries in both NorthAmerica and across the world. We give to disaster relief funds when tragedy hits, North Carolina and Texas Flooding.
Local missions include, Must Ministries & Hightower Food and Clothing Bank.
We have been able to provide for our church needs. To name a few, Coffee pots, children’s picnic tables, adult picnic tables, a stage,
Ceiling fans for the pavilion and youth building.
Thank you, HBC, without your generous offering and support, we couldn’t serve others in the capacity we do.
Our next meeting will Be August 26 @ 6:30.
