Pastor’s Note
God is in absolute control of all things
Matthew 6:26
“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? “
God is always involved in our everyday life. There is never a time in the life of a believer he is not there. He is providing and protecting us through all circumstances he already knows what we have need of.
In Christ Alone,
Preacher Ronnie

Journey to Jesus Drive Thru
This event has become one of our largest opportunities to tell the story of Jesus! This event also shows the community how wonderful our members our in and our commitment to Unity in Christ! Just today, a gentleman stopped me and asked me about the dates and how the Drive thru has become a special tradition for him and his family.
The time is now here to start advertising and get all the details of the Journey to Jesus Drive Thru. Dates: Thursday December 12 and Friday December 13th. Rainout dates will be that weekend through December 15th.
Time: 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM (arrive at stations at 5:30 PM)
Immediate needs:
- We need a volunteer(s) to be our Advertising team. This includes getting posters/flyers created, social media post created to share and signs to place in yards around the community (we have some already but need more).
- We need commitments to fulfill the roles for Thursday and Friday night, specifically traffic and actors. These scenes are our opportunity to truly tell the story of the Journey of Jesus!
The more the better in several of our scenes! Reminder, there is no interaction with those driving through but our chance to tell a great story!
- Appreciation goes out to all those who have committed to creating scenes, participating in the costume committee and the greeter committee!

Sunday School News
Wow, we have had a great October in Sunday School. The average attendance was 110.
Thanks to all the teachers, and all of you, who have made the effort to come out.
November and December are busy months and there are so many opportunities to give.
Let’s all remember to share Jesus during the busy months ahead.
WMU News
The ladies of the WMU would like to thank Hightower Church for your generous donation of the 5th Sunday Offering. We thought you might like to know how we use the money. First and foremost, to help and support all activities and needs of our church. To name a few, QUARTERLY DONATIONS TO, Kingdom Kids, Fellowship on the Field, Free Home Rocket Pantry, Meal for members in loss of loved one, bibles for newborn babies, and New members baptized. We organize and host, Pastor Appreciation, Trunk or Treat, Breakfast with Santa, and the Easter Egg Hunt. We recognize each graduating Senior from High School and College.
At Christmas we shop for local Children in the community and food for their family.
We also organize the toy drive for Hightower food and Clothing bank, providing toys for hundreds of children.
The WMU manages and pays for the calls provided by CALLING POST. Love donations are given to families, not only from our church, but in the area as well, when there is a need.
As the Women’s Missionary Union, we also give to the Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong offerings, supporting missionaries both foreign and in the USA. As a group we gave $5000 this Sept. to Samaritan’s Purse for hurricane disaster relief in North Carolina.
Local Missions include, Must Ministries and Hightower Food and Clothing Bank. We have also provided items for our church when there is a need. To name a few, coffee pots, children’s picnic tables, adult picnic tables, stage, ceiling fans for pavilion and youth building.
Thank you again, Hightower Church, without your support we couldn’t serve others in the capacity we do.
Our Christmas Party will be December 3rd @ 6:00 in the fellowship hall.
Bring a $25 gift to play our game, and it’s time to reveal your secret pal with a small gift or ornament.
Next Meeting is Nov. 19th in the fellowship hall@ 6:30.
Food trays for November are Pam & Libby.
